A Production of Battery Dance Company of New York & The Semazens and Musicians of Konya, Turkey.
Composers, artists, designers and choreographers from the U.S. and Turkey are collaborating in creating a full length performance that illustrates the meeting of cultures on stage, taking strands from modern Western music and traditional Sufi music in a touching and inspirationally integrated performance. They are telling universal stories through a unique combination of modern dance and Sufi rituals.
